    My 1-on-1 packages are ideal for beginners or for more experienced individuals with a big goal to achieve. If you want to build muscle or burn body fat, whilst getting stronger, then I will ensure that you are put on a tailor-made plan that keeps you motivated and accountable to ensure that you don’t just hit your targets, but you absolutely smash them.

     

    1-on-1 training is perfect for those who want dedicated and focused training sessions with zero guesswork, which makes it ideal for people with busy and stressful lifestyles who just want to turn up to the gym and get the necessary work done.

  • Strongman Class

    If you’re looking for a highly motivating training environment that will get you stronger, whilst burning a ton of calories, then my strongman class is the answer.

     

    Strongman class is a highly motivational group training session that gives you the opportunity to train with like-minded people, pushing you to achieve the most from yourself.

     

    You will get to train with equipment not found in a regular gym, which can provide a nice change of pace to your training but still accelerate your strength levels to brand new heights!

    If you are no stranger to the gym, but want some additional support and help to achieve your desired goal, then online coaching is for you.

     

    Online coaching involves having a customised training programme made for you, according to your goals and training experience, and an accompanying nutrition plan that will accelerate your progress and bring you closer to your fat loss/muscle building goal.

     

    During your time with online coaching, you will be kept accountable via regular check-ins to make sure that you’re on the right track and will be able to contact me as frequently as you need to with any questions that you may have - I will be with you every step of the way!

     

    This is my most cost-effective coaching plan, and I have results to show that to prove that this is a successful method of getting you into the shape you want!

    In 2013, I was at my heaviest at 243 pounds and in 2014, I decided to do something about it. I was able to lose about 40 pounds on my own but I was still out of shape and didn’t have much stamina and had reached a plateau.

    That is when decided to contact Will.

    I had many restrictions. I told him, I don’t have time, because of work, college, a three year daughter and I won’t go to a gym nor will I be able to run due to an injury. 

    I have a Bowflex in my garage and that was going to be my gym. The most important things for me was that I wanted to be able to continue what I was going to learn, for the rest of my life (or as long as possible).

In his program, there are no special diets, supplement, super human workouts, etc. The diet is what you want it to be, as long as you stay in your calorie limits and hit the macro-nutrients and workouts last from 45 minutes to an hour, 3-4 times a week. That is doable.

    Currently, I am at 182 pounds (goal is 175) and I have never been in the shape I am in now (abs, shoulders, etc. showing m/). I feel better than I did in my 20’s (I’m 41 now) and I know I’m in better shape than all those I know, who are in the same age range as I am.

    My time with Will has ended but what I have learned from him, I will use going forward. I have learned to eat the right things and right proportions, learned to do my workouts without making any excuses.

Through Will's Lifting Consultation, I was bought back down to earth with a bump - and using low weights, spent time learning good compound movement patterns and technique (...... and unlearning some of my bad habits....). Gradually I accepted the value of focussing on one goal and leaving reps in the tank. I also came to accept the mantra that improved quality of reps at the same weight does equate to progression!

Through lots of reps, always trying to improve my form, and through understanding how each compound movement should feel, I regained my love of lifting and gradually the weights started to increase. Over time Will worked out that I responded well to volume and made a series of adjustments to my lifting program, which alongside advice relating to how to improve my breathing and core stability, underpinned rapid progression.

Will is pretty flexible, and had to work around my preference to train fasted and to keep the calories in check. Despite the last year being extremely stressful, I'm still pretty lean, am feeling healthier, stronger and importantly I'm also sleeping better. Although my before photo suggests otherwise, I’ve had a membership to a number of commercial gyms for nearly 9 years. Any personal trainer can write you a programme and take you through the same workout week with minimal results – many have with me previously.

 

Will’s approach to training is different though. From the morning I woke up on day 1, I knew exactly what and when I should be eating and drinking, what supplements I should be taking, even how much sleep I needed on how best to achieve this.

 

The programme Will wrote for me was unique, varied and kept me motivated. Will always get changing things up and despite my long relationship with gyms and training still managed to throw in a few exercises that I had never heard of.

Perhaps most importantly, my training and diet were tailored to fit around work and other commitments. If I ever had any questions we’ll was only an email away and was always quick to reply. This continuous support was invaluable and helped keep me on track.

But now the "before" picture serves as motivation. After following a pretty intensive training programme, which has included density training and intensity based circuits, I am now down to 12% body fat and exactly 13 stone. I wouldn't have done it on my own and I can't recommend him highly enough.

The lifestyle differences have been dramatic. I sleep better, feel better, don't get ill, feel stronger and more motivated at work, viewed in that context it's an absolute bargain training with him.
